ALAN FAUQUE & FRIENDS PLAY THE MUSIC OF WAYNE SHORTER
On Thursday, July 14, saxophonist Alan Fauque will present a concert featuring the music of jazz legend Wayne Shorter at the CIKAN residence (31 Hitching Post Road) in Bozeman. He will be accompanied by pianist Ann Tappan, bassist Kelly Roberti and Brad Edwards at the drums. Wayne Shorter's compositions have long intrigued jazz players and listeners worldwide and his accomplishments in the field have garnered him the highest regard. Alan Fauque has studied his music and has chosen select pieces from his vast compositional repertoire to portray many sides of Shorter's personality. Reservations are strongly suggested for this performance as the venue is intimate. The concert starts at 7:00 and admission is $16.
