Powerful and gifted pianist David Morgenroth joins Kelly Roberti for two nights, in duet fashion, featuring the music of Duke Ellington. Morgenroth and Roberti are remembered for their concertizing with the music of Bill Evans many times and are now tackling another challenging repertoire…the Duke. They will appear in Missoula, MT on Friday, November 11 at Daly Jazz starting at 7:30. The following evening, November 12, they will perform at the prestigious and historic Ellen Theatre in Bozeman, MT. at 7:30 and the admission is a bargain at $15 for this performance. There is a cocktail hour for the Ellen Theatre show at 6:30 with a great bar… These shows will be truly memorable and accessible to all ages and all ears. On Friday, September 23 at 7:00, vocalist MJ Williams, pianist Ann Tappan and Kelly Roberti reunite to perform a special concert at the beautiful Cikan residence (31 Hitching Post) in Bozeman, MT.. This trio has performed, recorded and traveled together for many years and this show promises to be a great one with mostly familiar material performed with many twists.
